Hi everyone,
Some time ago WR mentioned we could check which drivers were out of date by downloading version tracker. He suggested deleting it after checking as it would be there at every startup. The delete button on the programme is greyed out & I have never been able to delete. Can anyone help please?

Hi Brit.
There should be a proper uninstaller with the program. check the start menu short cut for the program; the uninstaller link should be in there. to my knowledge there was no delete button to get rid of the program on the GUI (Graphic User Interface). If you can't find the uninstaller link, find where the program was installed to (the default is more than likely to bge C:\Program files) and look inside the folder. you should find the uninstaller executable file near the bottom of the files list.
Did you find the demo useful for listing all your drivers?
Software informer does something similar, but doesn't cover drivers only your programs. The full version of Vrsion Tracker will automatically find and update all the drivers if you wish. The demo doesn't though.

Dear WR
Thanks for trying to help.I finally found the file but all it says
is; Readme s/cut & version tracker s/cut. I said the delete button was greyed out but I meant the uninstall button, the dropdown menu Listaction also has he uninstall option greyed out. Obviously they mean me to keep It!Spud thanks,I am sure it is a good program but I am reluctant to d/load another I don't quite understand.

If I'm relating to the same software? then according to the VersionTracker FAQs you should be able to uninstall quite easily - by using "Add Or Remove Programs" (in XP) or "Programs and Features" (in Vista).
Have you tried looking there?
