   Any impressions or recommendations of specific games. I prefer single player games and do better with strategy than quick action. Darkout looks kind of interesting.

   I wish the site didn't make that annoying noise. I guess it is when there is a new purchase or a message.

   I can't tell you anything more about the games, only what I have read on Desura and Steam. Draconian Wars seems to be an online game, mostly MMO.
   But I can help you with the annoying noise :)
   Click on the chat bar and look for options. There you can turn off the noise.
   Don't delete the cookies when you leave groupees, or the noise is back the next time you log in.

   Thanks graylox. That did the trick. I had actually tried something like that before, but I think I missed the right sequence (green plus sign/portrait of a person > cog wheel that opens in new window > "Sound" so that a red line goes through it showing it is off).
