Microsoft recommending removal of update 2823324

Microsoft is investigating behavior where systems may not recover from a restart, or applications cannot load, after security update 2823324 is applied. We recommend that customers uninstall this update. As an added precaution, Microsoft has removed the download links to the 2823324 update while we investigate.

Thanks for the notice. I have had no problems but just to be safe, I have uninstalled his update and I'm walking a non-so-techy friend through the uninstall right now. I'm waiting for her system to reboot. :)

I got the notice in my Kim Komando newsletter; promptly located and uninstalled it.
