For those interested I just noticed Train Simulator 2013 with 3 add-ons is available for $13.75 on Steam as a daily deal. Considering the original cost was $134.20, which to me is a rediculous price to pay(not me), that is a 75% discount.

The whole game is ridiculously expensive. If you purchased all of the dlc's and the game when it was first released you'd be paying over $2000 for the game. I'm still amazed at how much they charge for simple models of a train. They are all basically similar, with graphical tweaks in the way of skins and a bit of jiggery pokery with a 3D modelling program. (lol) The most expensive dlc's are those with new track layouts, most of which are based on real locations. I think they are actually better value for money, but still rather expensive.
The Trainz series is much better value for money; its cheaper and you get a lot more rolling stock included with the main game, and there's only 5 or six expansions compared to Train Simulator 2013's 100+
