Jolly good find Graylox. I have purchased 3 games from the site and I have been overall pleased with this site.
No client is involved and download speeds were in the high range of my isp limitations.
Registrations gave me a few chuckles(its humor) but was easy and reasonable. Paypal, major credit cards, and a check service which might cause delays until cleared.

Two of the games were drm free and one had an 8 digit code. Holy Avatar was a zip file
with an exe file and 2 rar files. The other 2 games were exe files. Age of Conquest III had to be found in the program files(x86) to put a shortcut.
Unlike GOG, one doesn't know what extras are included. Two had manuals and one had a mini walkthru. One even had a font editor shortcut installed.
I would say that shinyloot at this times serves a niche market and does it well. The owner knows what he is up against. He handles the constructive criticism very well. He is active in spurts on various online platforms including reddit/gaming.
I have these games on Windows 8. The text on Holy Avatar was super fast and even a speed reader couldn't read it before it was gone but that game has a lot of option settings and I haven't updated it yet. I will probably purchase more games from ShinyLoot. One may have to be more flexible than other places but it gives one more freedom also. Definitely worth checking out even though still in beta
