I am trying to remove watermarks, that run across portrait pictures,
neither the recently offered photo retoucher, nor this photupz were able to do that, the portrait pictures turned out all smudgy and blurred, the faces totally ruined.
does anyone know a good paid software that does that removal of watermarks on faces correctly?
thanks

There are various logo removers for still & video images, often working along the lines of you give it a mask of whatever logo, e.g. select just the logo & save it as a separate file, & then it works on just that part of the image [or video frame] covered by the selection. I've never seen one of them work really well unless the logo or watermark was almost transparent. Faces covered by watermarks would be particularly difficult since there's too much variation to sample or clone the surrounding areas. AT any rate, Google "logo remover" [without quotes] -- I got 14 million hits so you should find more than a few apps to try.

hey mikiem2, thanks for your reply!
I guess I will just have to try.
I know there are lots of apps or software , i was just hoping, some other member would have some former experiences, and would have been able to give some concrete tips for the software!Posted 11 years ago # -
Hi Ender,
my experience is that there is no miracle app.
There are several tools you can use for for this task, some have more bells and whistles others are easy to use; but none of them can do miracles.
For a good result on such difficult tasks, you have to do a lot of pixel work.
Zoom in and repair pixel after pixel with a pipette.
Good luck.graylox
