Hi Whabbit!
I would not call this a "Basic TM", in fact I wouldn't call it a TM at all. It has no timer.
On Alawar's website it is listed under Arcade Games, however I also see TM's in that list.
I would call it a disjointed strategy game, lol
I almost didn't download it, but I am glad I did. It's kind of cute, but makes no sense at all!
The resources and the building you have done do not carry on to the next level and you just start over again meeting the set goals.
You start out with easy goals like building the wigwam(which is free), then as you progress through the levels you have to build 3 houses. In order to accomplish that you have to use your noodle and figure out that you will have to destroy that wigwam in order to meet the goal of building those 3 houses, but before you can accomplish that you figure out that you have to upgrade that wigwam to level 3 so you have enough workers to to take care of the other things you need like food, gold, wood....etc.
It's a thinking game!
The only problem I have had is with that "free wigwam". When I move to another level sometimes it comes up as locked, so I have to exit the game and come back in.
I really don't understand all the problems the people on the front page were having with entering your name, either that or I have played to many of these games to know that you just type it in, rofl
I would have posted on the front page, but by the time I got to downloading and playing the game it would not have done any good as by then the giveaway was over!
I had to replace my modem yesterday(Monday)and that took me the better part of the day. When I called my IP to give them the Mac address it took them forever to get the modem and my computer on the same page and talking to each other. Never had that happen before! I am so sick of "ipconfig" and "ping http://www.charter.net", lmao
Take care, Suki
Thanks for the feedback Suki, I agree, more like a 'disjointed strategy game' :) I'm always very rushed to post most of my reviews as I don't get notifed most of the time until the evening before. Sometimes I'm not in the mood, so my reviews suffer markedly. :)
