Hey, I have a game that I would like to be able to record some video from. Does anyone know of any game recorder software that is free?? Thanks for any input :)

I use Camtasia studio, but that's not free. You can get a free version of Fraps, which does screen capture, video and benchmarking, though you can only record a specific length of video at a time with the free version. You can download it HERE
The full version costs $35:
A few of the modders I used to work with used Fraps, and I've seen loads of You Tube videos using it as well, though I think you video is watermarked with FRAPS along the top of the screen (not sure though).
There's another free sofware called Dubut Video Capture, which you can get from HERE

Thanks for your thoughts. I have tried CamStudio and although it works great for capturing desktop type actions it is to choppy for capturing game video. Fraps and Debut Video Capture both seem to do a better job. Only wish that Fraps did not have a 30 second limit on its free version :(

Just tried Capture Fox and a max frame rate of 5 (per second) is mega choppy.

Actually I used "GameCam" once to make a music gaming video for my YouTube and it was easy and turned out good once I edited the bits I wanted.
