Sweet, nice find thanks

Thanks. I thought Little Shop sounded familiar. I checked my list and I had played it and deleted it. There's another Little Shop game tomorrow.

I've got 4 Elements and Little Shop but not Super Bounce Out. I got 4 Elements free from Big Fish Games when they gave me a free code after a problem with another game. Little Shop I got from Gamehouse earlier.
I've got my freebie. Thanks for the link!

Today's Match 3 is kind of boring.

Thanks, Michelle. I had 4 Elements as an ad-supported GameHouse game, but I uninstalled that and installed this full freebie instead, because I quite liked 4 Elements and as I recall, it was one of the ones where the ads were somewhat intrusive, not always being limited to between rounds. And I had Little Shop of Treasures 2, also as an ad-supported giveaway, but this is apparently its predecessor, Little Shop of Treasures, which I did not have. I like the Little Shop series of HOGs because the objects are clearly drawn. They may be hard to find, but they're not the sort that you can't see even when you know where they are!
And Terri, thanks for the warning about Big Kahuna Reef 2 - Chain Reaction, today's ad-supported giveaway. I got Big Kahuna Reef free from Amazon, and I wasn't sure whether to bother with this one. Now I won't.

Thanks for the heads up, Michelle! I love Gamehouse & "no ads" is the BEST way to play!

I didn't realize Little Shop of Treasures was a different version AND ad-free. I'll download it as soon as I get back home.
BTW a while ago someone had mentioned being concerned about Gamehouse's policy (spelled out in the EULA) about collecting information from your computer. Today when I went to play the new game, Zone Alarm gave me a pop-up saying Gamehouse was trying to collect information from my computer. I denied access. I usually disconnect from the internet when I play the downloaded games and will continue to do so just in case.

Terri, I hate that! I don't have Zone Alarm & have no idea what else is good AND free to use but that's off topic so I'll post about it elsewhere.

Thanks for posting the info about those games, Michelle. I had been wanting 4 Elements...now I have it...:D. How did you learn of that offer?

Wow, great find Michelle, thank you muchly for sharing. I had only played the demo of 4 elements from BFG and liked it and have never played the Little shop HOG's before. This is my first download from GH and my laptop is set up for alerts if anything is changed w/o permission or acts fishie: nothing yet. :p
I'd pay for a new game that GH has exclusively, Campfire Legends---Hookman, but they don't take paypal. They want your credit card info which includes addresses, etc. That's not necessary for a game download. I don't want it that badly so they can lose the sale.

Tailteann, I'm pretty sure Shockwave is getting that game if you prefer that site. I'm waiting for the new Mortimer Beckett and then I'll rejoin the Shockwave Club so I can play both of them.

Thanks Terri, I'll check Shockwave out. It looks like a promising site.
I'd rather avoid joining Gamehouse even though they give one everyday. The ad's would drive me crazy. I'm happy to take advantage of freebee's like these three though. :)

Here's another one:
Free Little Shop Road Trip!
Code is on Twitter if you follow Gamehouse.Keep up the free games everyone.

Thanks, Terri. Got it!
Posted 15 years ago # -
Meep. Must one have a Twitter* to get the freebee code for road trip? The graphics and play in the Little shop games are so much fun.
*That's another thing I've been trying to avoid, lol.

Michelle, Thank you for the link to the free games.

Tailteann - Sorry this is a bit late; I've just seen the last couple of comments on this thread. You don't have to have a twitter account to see a given twitterer's message list, or whatever it's called. You can just go to twitter.com/gamehouse and see them posted. I'm not posting the code here because I don't know if that's allowed or not, but I just went there and clicked back to the previous page, because the link and code were tweeted on Oct. 23, and I found them. I've just used the code myself, and it's still good.

I got 4 Elements from this deal; the site wouldn't give me the other 2, but that's not bad for coming in at the last minute. And 4 Elements is probably the one I'd like most anyway. I love the graphics--lush, gorgeous colors, etc. And so far haven't gotten timed out too often.
Also got the Little Shop Road Trip game, which looks great (love the funny 50s-style ambiance) except that I probably won't play fast enough to get very far.
Thanks Michelle and Terri218 !

Thanks much for the tip, everyone. Just now downloaded all three games (how wonderful) and will enjoy playing them during my spare time, for sure.
Best,

Thank you Maud, I didn't know that about Twitter. :)
And though GameHouse says the three game freebee ends on Oct. 30, I was just able to 'purchase' and register Super Bounce Out. I like the occasional Match 3 so I thought I'd give a try. I've been loving 4 Elements, the graphics are beautiful and it's sweet in a way that doesn't give me sugar shock. :p

Tailteann,
I agree that 4 Elements is a great game. However, that fairy get's annoying!
Posted 15 years ago # -
I know...especially on the blue reshuffle. You've like 30 seconds left and she comes out with all those flourishes, lol.
