Does this software work with other power point versions than the ones listed? For example v. 2002? Also, is it compatible with Open Office?
Thanks,
Kc

How about you bothering reading the information yourself?
System Requirements:
Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003, Microsoft Office with PowerPoint 2000, PowerPoint 2003 recommended, Pentium-III/AMD Athlon 500 MHz, 256 Mb RAM, 100 Mb free hard disk space

Lee,
That was a rather snappish reply. As a regular member/user here who has overwhelmingly posted positive comments and had no difficulties with the site I think I am entitled to ask one question without being snapped back at. Version 2002 is not stated in there. I did however download the program, after waiting most of the day for a coherent reply and find that yes, it is compatible. It's nice to have helpful answers upfront so you can make an informed decision. Even though the software is "free" for the day, I don't necessarily want to download something and clutter up my laptop if there is no use for me.Posted 17 years ago # -
I noticed Powerpoint 2002 doesn't appear to be mentioned on the official FlashSpring website either. The listed software requirements are a direct copy from the official website.
The question about Open Office was sort of answered by the FlashSpring member. (#96)

kc I was not snyping at you.
On the front page it says system requirements.
If people read system requirements fully, then they would not ask the question.
You could have written, 'has anyone tried it on such n such a version, did it work'?
If you don't want clutter on your laptop I suggest you buy a thumb drive or an external data source.
Then you can save it to that area and if after some time you don't want it then remove it.
