    This is because some games save the progress in the flashplayer's settings folder on your computer. This is also how YouTube stores volume settings and unfortunately some advertising companies use these settings too because it allows them to store more information than a regular cookie. It is fairly easy to get rid of outdated game settings and you can also edit the settings to prevent advertisers from gathering too much data. The WWW is a Whole World of Worries for those who are concerned about privacy ;-)
