   I have decided that I will take over posting games for the weekends. Today we have various minigames created by Generation Stars. They also have two commercial games with demos, Gink in Trouble and Gold Seeker. All the downloads are on one page so see link on the bottom of this post.

   GS Inspector

   Find five differences between two pictures in limited time. Simple game play, great graphics..

   It's good, some of the differences can be quite hard to find. Recommended.

   RetroQ

   This game will turn you into a typing frenzic! Dodge bullets, strife, and shoot back at the same time! If you're up to it.

   This is an top-down arena shooter. This game has two modes, survival and a level based mode. There are many powerups that you can spawn by killing the yellow guy that moves around the perimeter. Each level increases the number of enemies that spawn so it get repetitive after a bit.

   CaveShip

   This game is taking place deep in the caves of various space asteroids. Your duty is to try and get to the end of the caves! !FUN!

   This is similar to the scrolling games where you try to avoid obstacles while moving right. You do get a shield to make it a bit easier. Recommended.

   Speedy Lander

   Land the Lander as soon as you can using your parashute and thrusters parachute and thrusters.

   You start falling through the atmosphere and have to time when to deploy the parachute. Then you have to time when to release the parachute and land on one of the three platforms, which also refuels you. After landing on all three, you just have to fly up high enough to transmit the data.

   Panic Invaders

   Fight the enemies coming your way and defend the Earth from total destruction.

   Just another spaceship shooter with powerups.

   Raklem

   Kill as many enemies as you can to protect your life...

   Another top-down arena shooter.
   Note: I had a few problems running this game so test at your own risk.

   Yambo Extra

   Yambo is a remake of Yahtzee, an old mosaic 5 dice game.

   Note: I also had a few problems running this game.

   Quiz-tac-toe

   Game like Tic-Tac-Toe, player has to answer a question for each move he makes...

   This game requires two players. You have to answer a random question in order to make a move.

   Rocket Launcher

   Launch your rocket safely into orbit..

   This game just requires the space key to play. Press space when the green part is highlighted to fuel the rocket and also try to aim it.

   Snakey

   It is a remake of the classic arcade game (snake) with many improvements.

   Mutant Mahem

   Defend from an enemy who endlessly attacks you!
   This type of game is not for those with weak stomach :)

   Also a top-down arena shooter with multiple levels and bosses.

   1key Minigolf

   Complete the course of 18 holes in this 1key minigolf game.

   Minigolf with one key, recommended.

   Guess it Not

   Guess the soccer player name like in Hangman games...

   Thanks, rO! These look like scads of fun. Love these minigames for when you don't really wanna get "involved," like on a Saturday with errands planned. :)

   Excellent job today friend. There are definitely quite a bit of games here to keep everyone busy this weekend let alone today. Does anyone think the Game Giveaway is coming back? I'd like to think yes, but with all the repeats they had been doing lately it looks as though their well may have been running dry. I hope they do soon.

   Last time they were gone almost 2 months and there was not much improvement when they returned. Considering the lack of new and exciting games before they left on vacation, my guess is that it may be a long time before they return this time, if at all.

   I hope so HOSS; they did say it was an extended holiday, but then, they also said weeknds only would be temporary over a year ago.

   Thanks rO for taking over the weekend ostings. I'll post the odd one if you don't mind.

   I've got a great platformer for Monday, thanks to Alex from Costa Rica. and another for tuesday thanks to thenameIpicked. :)

   Good to hear you've got some nice tricks up your sleeve, wrabbit!

   As for their vacation... it's been just about a month now, so basing on last year's, I'd give them another 2 weeks at least. They haven't given us reason to believe they're not returning, so I have high hopes.

   BTW, I'm assuming the software giveaway team is a totally different one? I always thought they were one and the same, but I guess not? Who works behind those curtains. *?:-D
