I came across a site called Games 2 Download. Has anyone had any experience with this site? They claim it is a safe site.
Anybody hear of Games 2 Download?

Web of trust rates http://www.games2download.com with a green rating with only 1 mention of spam and that's not even spam it's simply pop-ups. I've not used the site but trust WOT's rating.
The site only offers free demo's and then sells games much like bigfishgames.com with most for $6.99

I have played games at this site, but I usually stick to the games offered here or at GameHouse.com. I have also played BigFish games, but with all the "free" games being offered lately, I am not purchasing many games. I don't mind the advertisements.
In fact, I received an email from GameHouse PR Dept. stating that they often get inquiries from reporters who would like to speak to the people that enjoy playing games like the ones at GameHouse.com. and that written stories appear in national women's magazines, newspapers, etc. They asked me to be added to the list to speak with a reporter during a casual conversation about why I enjoy playing games. I talked with the person that sent the email and she asked me questions about the games in general, my favorite type of games and why I play the games. She then said she would put my name on the list to be contacted by the reporters. In return, they thanked me by giving me a year's membership to the FunPass program. Not a bad gift for a few minutes time. Unlimited access to entire catalog of games for 1 year FREE!!!!

how did you get an email from them; I guess you were on their mailing list?
I am on an email list for Gamehouse but never was asked to participate in such a list..
:(
That is GREAT though!
Lucky you!

I am a FunPass member already, just buying 1 game a month from them. Maybe that is how I received it, but she is going to convert my account, so that I don't have to pay anymore for 1 year. I usually only purchase the games that I really want to keep. I have a 3 yr. old grandson that plays the games with me and some of them he is actually better at that me. His favorite is the Tropix game, he calls it the "monkey game", knows how to click on the icon and play the game without help. Of course, he has other favorites too. Mine are the hidden object games. If they are similar to the Little Shop series, where he can click on a hint and it shows him what he is looking for, he has no problems finding them. I sometimes have to tell him what to look for and he finds it. Really enjoy playing these games with him. We have downloaded several from this site also. He asked me everytime he comes over if we have a new game to play.

Terri, I 'fooled' with them once, a long time ago. I think I was under the impression you were actually getting the game for free, sort of like GameHouse and mostfun, but if I recall correctly you only get a 60 minute trial. I don't recall any unpleasant experiences, but as I said, it's been quite a while since I've messed with them.
