Launched it… OK
Created my 1st drive… still OK
but…
wanted to create a folder into this 1st drive :
“Sorry, an unexpected error has been detected. Error code : C0000022″
While I'm writing here... suggestion :
To be able to select more than one folder, then right click and select "map these folders"
Same thing for files
Suggestion #2 :
To be able to simply drag and drop results from a file search from the results to the desired folder.
Example :
Search for Jpeg files bigger than 20Kb
"Select all"
Drag and drop to desired folder whether it's in the VDM window or directly in the explorer.
The "basics" idea of this app is great... but it needs work for compatibility and user friendliness and facility of use. People (like me) don't like o have to browse everywhere in our disorganised drives to try to organise them. People like me don't like to have to play "Puzzfile" moving stuff around back and forth from one drive to another trying to make place for one type of files on one drive.
Why not even offer pre programmed solutions?
"click here to make a folder of all of your mp3 files"
(ditto) of your jpeg files weighing at least "x" (selectable by user) Kb big
(ditto) of your internet shortcuts
(ditto) of your application shortcuts
Basically, offer to make virtual folders or drives of what the "common user" usually look for when they call their little searching wizard.
