OMG. WTF to noscript. This is just evil. It's okay to ask for donations. It's definitely evil to force install crapware and mess with other extensions. I think NoScript should be banned from AMO until they stop all this evil junk.

This issue was resolved and an apology was given by the NoScript author. It also now appears that the AdBlock plus author is trying to decide whether to make a more ad friendly version so that sites with non intrusive ads can get their ad revenue. This would be user approved so there will still be the option to block all ads.
