Chrome beats the hackers in annual browser bash

IE8, Safari and Firefox all fell victim to hackers on day one of the annual Pwn2Own contest, while Google's Chrome survived.

A flaw was found in Googles Chrome browser.

However no-one that attended found a way of exploiting it.

Microsoft said they would patch the IE8 bugs, but still a few days on no show on windows update.
