Hi Lee,
Thanks for the heads up.
I wonder if they reduced ram usage by now when opening several tabs...
Did you test run it yet?
I ran it, it crashed, I am going to use 7 for a bit, till IE pro has an update and I sort out my finger print reader.
Well, I'm lovin the new 8. It runs twice as fast for me and the new features are great too. I know their behind Firefox in the features department (such as addons) but I still like Internet Explorer better. I have Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Chrome installed on my system and Internet Explorer 8 runs the best for me (as of now). Let's hope Microsoft keeps up the good work :]
Good software we need to know about well I hope it is! may not

Microsoft's IE 8 incompatibility list: 2,400 major sites (and counting)
Good thing though is you should be able to realise that you're in a phishing site.
The address domain is in dark compared to the rest of the address.
I decided to bite the bullet and try 8 again, I made sure I did it clean rather than with temp crap around.
It has crashed, however I press ok to close and it still keeps working without closing.
I love Internet Explorer 8 but it is starting to anger me a bit.
Every site I've visited so far is fine except for Facebook. It worked fine at first when I first installed IE8 but recently I've been getting the classic "flash10b.ocx" error after logging in and going to my homepage. It's odd because flash works fine on Myspace, Youtube, etc. but I have to disable that add-on every time I log into Facebook now.
After I get the error, the new ressurection feature kicks in and it keeps trying to load the page again and the eror keeps coming back. So I have to frantically hit the back button to escape facebook, lol. Disabling the add-on before going there isn't a big deal, cause most of that site is javascript anyway, but it's just annoying. So I hope Facebook fixes itself to get along well with IE8. Is anyone else having similiar problems?
Maybe, Chip, installing Adobe Flash latest versions would help fix problem.
Chip, is that the only annoyance you have with FB ? :)
sorry off topic
@Lee: Yeah, I already have the latest version but visited their site site anyway to redownload it. When I did that nothing changed and Facebook still froze on me :/
@notblocklox: lol, yeah. I love Facebook but still love Myspace more because you can customize and such :]
Thanks for your suggestion Lee however it must have been a temporary Facebook issue. Facebook works fine for me now and I haven't had the problem since. Well, I did post this entry right when IE8 was released so of course their were problems at first. However, most sites run fine in the new version and those that don't are slowly being updated so they work fine. This version of IE8 is the best yet in my opinion :]
Try This Take off Firefox fit IE8, work's OK now fit Firefox, IE8 may not like Firefox setup as default browser more info,
