I am sure he is just taking a much deserved day to spend with family or to play one of the many games he has waiting for him. He spends so much time looking for games for us that he doesn't get time to 'play' games also.

Yea, I hope that Wrascally Rabbit is OK.
In the same line.....Anyone heard from Mr.B? They got those fires in Aussieland. Hope he is OK also.
And the Mango Princess(LeKanaw) is fine too. Her PC is just rebelling aganst her use of butter knives, I guess. I got 2 rather frantic "admiral seeds" from her.
We are finally getting a "heat wave"(-1 C). And we have no more places to put ALL the snow we are getting. The piles are way over my head.
The Minbari Ambassador reporting in.....................
P.S. Yoh, RM, I am in the process of setting up Dragon Naturally Speaking because of the arthritis in my fingers and hands. Any tips or hints I should know? You can send me an admiral seed if need be.

Merri, as far as I know Whiterabbit is taking a break for a week because he has become a little burned out. Wizzard and reverseorder are taking care of putting up games in his absence. He'll be back next week although I wouldn't be surprised to see him poke his furry little ears up once in a while looking for carrots and making whabbit type comments. :)

hi, pavid, thanks for the info!
YES I am sure he NEEDS a break, that's good!
LOL @ furry little ears and whabbit comments..
:DPosted 16 years ago # -
Hoss Yes he must not get much time for his own games or family!
So glad to know that he is taking it now..

Delenn 13..
i bet that you can't wait for spring then.
Ugh about the snow!
We have been getting heavy frosts but only one dump of snow so far.
One is enough!
LOL
Take care..

5 feet, and then it half melted, then it froze. When it froze, it left a layer of ice the hard snow.
I thought snow might be neat, moving to Washington. Little did I know... We can hardly make it up the hill. Being in a large city, snow plows are always sluggish, as they don't have enough to cover everywhere, soon enough.Posted 16 years ago # -
thewebmaster, sounds like here.
EXCEPT for the 5 feet..yikes!!!
We so seldom get snow that when it happens, the whole city is shut down.
Snow plows only do the main streets and the rest just have to rely on neighbours to help them dig out!Posted 16 years ago # -
I don't blame him for getting burned out...he does need a break and I hope he's enjoying every minute of it, pain free of course!
Doing the posting and research, writing the reviews is exhausting, even though it is his love of games that brings him to do it!
BUT, then you don't have time to enjoy the games yourself!!!!!Take Care Whabbit, absence makes the heart grow fonder...
Our snow is melting, going to hit almost 60 on Tuesday...then back to the 30's!
I lived in El Paso for 5 years and when it snowed, the city shut down....they only had one plow, lol...that was a 2" snowfall!

Hi Merri, Suki and concerned others,
I've spoken to Whiterabbit on the phone today and I'm able to inform you that he is alright. For technical reasons he has been unable to connect to the internet (very frustrating for him, as it prevented him from posting last weekend's Game GotD reviews) since last week, and this continues to be a problem. He's unsure when he'll be able to resolve this issue.
To make matters worse, he's been suffering the effects of a nasty bug - probably of the viral persuasion - and it's only today that he's been feeling a bit better.
He asked me if I would like to let you concerned well-wishers know that he is alright and he hopes to be "communicado" in the very near future.Kinds regards,

Hi Ornithos,
Thank you very much for the update!
I think many of us were starting to get more than a little worried, so it's very welcome news. I hope he feels much better soon! And then hopefully he can sort out his internet troubles without further frustration.Regards & Thanks,

Orthinos.. Yes, THANKS for letting us know!
How very frustrating for him about the non connecting to the Internet.
Glad that he is getting over the bug though..
There are SO many nasty bugs around this time of year!
We look forward to his full recovery(and tell him to take his time; such things are no joke..)
Take care to you too!

Thanks for the update Orthinos. The whabbit must be leaving bunny pellets every where. I hope he'll get things sorted soon. I kinda miss the fuzzy, little guy. :)

Thanks O.......
He must be going through withdrawal right about now, I know I do when I go to my trailer in summer...no internet in the woods!
When you take the kinda meds he does, it leaves the door wide open for any nasty bug that's around...
Please send our regards and well wishes for a speedy recovery for both him and his pc!
Take care and Thanks, Suki

Hello Suki,
Funny you should mention that; when I spoke to Whiterabbit, he told me that he urgently needed to sort out his wireless router, as he was really getting withdrawal symptoms now :<)
I believe you're right about his medication contributing to his susceptibility to bugs. I also think that his imposed, sedentary lifestyle is another factor; I firmly believe that diet, excercise and spending sufficient time outdoors contribute to good "bodily resistance" (bit off topic here). He's not able to do much towards the latter two, as it causes him too much pain.
Merri, thank you for your good wishes. I get bugs inflicted on me all the time as my two young children are happy to share them with me. Schools are veritable breeding grounds of the nasty little critters :<)
Best wishes for your health and well-being, regards,
Ornithos
