In a nutshell, Windows is under new management. There's lots that the new boss would apparently like to change -- just not now. The new leaks & rumors say Win10 will get some love after previously being put on the back burner, IMHO because if you're looking to make $ from advertising, it's asinine to ignore your biggest market. Win11 is now supposed to get 2 updates this year, a Moment this spring, and a new version this fall. All of this could change of course, but the thinking is that Microsoft doesn't want to have to support & update 3 different versions of Windows at once.
