   Another in his string of security-related articles, this time trying to answer the question of how long your passwords should be. I use a password mgr., and use that to both generate and keep track of them, so a 30 character password is no more inconvenient to use than a 5 character version -- I use 24 characters as the default, simply because that sounded like a good number.

   Anyway, Ed seems to settle on 12 as a good minimum, and lists recommendations from several sources.
