The title for Microsoft's KB5029863 page simply says: "Compatibility update for installing and recovering Windows 11, version 22H2: August 22, 2023". Neowin labels it Critical. The Microsoft page lists the individual files that are updated, and their dates -- Windows Update seems to be effected, so it couldn't hurt to download and install the just over 5 MB file. The catch is that it's only available via the Microsoft Update Catalog [both pages linked above have the links], and only as a .cab file. To install the update, from the Command Prompt: dism /online /add-package /packagepath:"[Path To The .cab File Including The Name Of The .cab File]". Note, since the downloaded file name is kinda long, you can rename it 1st to whatever you like to reduce typing. Also note, while the Microsoft page says it does not require a restart, I just installed it in my Insider Beta copy of Win11, & a restart was required.
