AMD has new motherboard chipset drivers available. When you run the installer it unzips the necessary files in C:\AMD\, then runs the setup file. The setup routine checks your hardware, then shows a sort of grid arrangement listing the applicable drivers, each with a checkbox. When you mouse over the rectangles with the individual drivers a tool tip appears telling you whether you need to update that driver or not -- uncheck the ones that are current. When it's done there's a link on the lower right of the installer window for a summary telling you what was installed & what failed -- check it. I've experienced a high failure rate. Running the installer again *usually* has installed the failed driver, but not always... If you head to that C:\AMD\ folder you'll find the individual driver packages with both a setup file and the driver files including an .inf file. In my experience running the setup file only allowed reinstall, modify, or uninstall -- I'm not sure if reinstall installs the new version or the one that's current & stored in Windows\ System32\ DriverStore\ FileRepository\. The Readme file says to install the driver using Device Mgr., which is what I did, & that worked. Open Control Panel -> Device Mgr., find the device you want to update the driver for, right click it selecting Update, or double click it and select Update from the properties dialog, click the lower, 2nd option, to find the new driver on your hard disk, browse to the folder with the new driver & .inf file, and click OK.
