This strikes me as what Device Mgr. would look like & how it would work in Linux rather than Windows. It doesn't look as pretty, but you have more capabilities and IMHO it's easier to use. If nothing else, it's worth it for getting rid of hidden, no longer present or attached hardware IMHO.
There is no installation -- running this tiny app I got an even tinier 64-bit version that ran as expected. The registry gets one key for the app.
