You *Probably* are not effected. Microsoft has released fixes, though which file you download & run depends on both the Windows & .NET versions you're using. Personally, I use whatever .NET versions got installed with Windows & other software, so I wasn't sure which file to download & run. I tried checking the .NET version using a command line argument I found on Windows Central, but I couldn't tell from the results whether I had v. 4.8 or 4.8.1 installed. Microsoft says to check a value in the registry and match it to their table, & that worked. Note the fix requires a restart.
