AI is Huge right now, or at least the hype around it, and AI's voice / music applications have become extra popular because of AI generated songs in voices & styles that sound identical to big name popular artists, though of course those artists had nothing at all to do with it. Google "ai voice" [w/out quotes] and you'll get an idea of how many people & companies are trying to cash in on this, including one company selling what looks to be very similar to today's GOTD, with offers to license their tech to anyone wanting to include it in their apps.
The setup file in the zipped file you download from GOTD is a downloader, downloading & running evw_ad_easeus.exe, which is 75MB. EaseUS VoiceWave takes up ~240MB in the Program Files (x86)\ EaseUS\ folder, with a new ProgramData\ EaseUS folder, Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ EaseUS VoiceWave & Polyverse folders, a new Windows\ INF\ Oem**.inf file, a new virtual mic driver, along with the corresponding folder with driver installation files in Windows\ System32\ DriverStore\ FileRepository\, and finally a C:\Behavior file. I recorded 232 new registry entries in my Win11 VM.
Activation took a while, but checking Task Mgr. the app was active during this time, with constant disk activity -- maybe it was going through some process to create a unique hardware user ID? After a while though it did work & the activation window closed.
