Getting a key for this GOTD may be challenging for some folks... standard stuff where you request a key on their web page & then [Hopefully] receive it via email. 1st problem is that some email services block their emails, e.g. outlook.com, which is a pretty major service. Second problem is that a 2nd attempt with another email address fails with the warning that your IP address was already successfully used. 3rd problem is that they don't tell you that they also record the MAC address for the device you used. A proxy or VPN gets around the IP address issue, but you have to either use software to spoof another MAC address, or use another network adapter, e.g. a USB network &/or WiFi dongle, your phone, a VM etc. to get another MAC address.
Moving on, it seems a standard ffmpeg-based video convertor, with no signs of the promised AI, but you probably already knew that from the size of the download -- every AI app I've run is HUGE. On the GOTD download page one comment complains about poor video quality [sorry, too late to post there], which I wouldn't worry about if you're interested in giving this convertor a try... Ffmpeg's been stable for probably over a decade, and companies like Vidmore have been using it as the basis for their converters for almost as long. It is possible I'm wrong, and one of Vidmore's coders screwed up, but I feel it's Much more likely a problem that could be resolved in the app's settings. Generally you don't want to resize video, you don't want to re-encode DVD mpg2, you probably don't want to alter the fps, you don't want to apply excessive video compression, trying to make the file as small as possible, and with ffmpeg, you usually get best results outputting H264 or H265.
The app itself installs into the program's folder, with additional folders in ProgramData, Documents, & Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Local\. The registry gets an uninstall key, a Vidmore key, & a key that stores activation data.
