This of course matters if you've got one of the new CPUs, but the fuller story, so far anyway, might also help if people start generalizing, e.g.: "You hear that AMD CPUs are all melting?" Seems the new X3D versions can't take any extra voltage, and being a gaming CPU, people that have them have a greater tendency to overclock, which usually involved cranking up the volts in the past. In this case the CPUs are burning & swelling, damaging the CPU socket on the expensive motherboards as well. In response the companies that make the motherboards are rushing out new BIOS firmware to make sure you cannot raise the voltage -- make sure you update the BIOS pronto if you have the effected gear.
