One reason for Win11's hardware requirements is to [in theory] make VBS [Virtualization Based Security] less painful. I think the consensus is that most non-corporate users [IMHO rightly] have it turned off. VBS was always an option with Win10, but more often than not ignored. Well, apparently Microsoft has altered the Win10 setup files, at least in some cases, so that VBS is turned on when you perform a fresh Win10 install.
