Far as I can tell, IObit lied... the product page for today's GOTD says in one section: "IObit Uninstaller made it so much easier to install Android apps on Windows 11 PC. Simply drag an APK file onto the APK Installer and it will be installed automatically without any additional steps. Besides, the Android apps you installed can be quickly uninstalled with IObit Uninstaller as well." I can't find Any trace of that in the app I installed in my Win11 VM, nor in the app's or online help.
I don't bother with uninstaller tools like this as a rule -- I've written more in depth posts about how they'll only list & reverse changes they consider totally safe -- but I was interested in the side loading function, since drag / drop would be easier for my wife than the WSA Sideloader I wrote about in another post [not that that app's hard by any means]. Somewhere on IObit's site, while searching for some mention of the side loading capability, I came across something saying that IObit maintained a database of software installation details. If that's the case, & if the software you want to remove is included in their database, then *maybe* IObit's Uninstaller Pro has an edge on their competition.
IObit Uninstaller Pro 12 adds the program's folder, plus a folder in Program Files (x86)\ Common Files, 2 folders in ProgramData, and a folder in each of Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ LocalLow & Roaming. I recorded 243 new registry entries, including new drivers.
