Doesn't work with video playing in a web browser, so I'll stick with live captions in Chrome & Edge. Chrome is easy -- just turn it on in the settings -- while Edge requires an extra step. When I Google there are loads of links that say just turn it on in Edge's settings, but when I go to settings in Edge, that option just isn't there. What does work is typing "start msedge --enable-features=msLiveCaption" on the Command line, or do what I did, creating a shortcut on the desktop: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --enable-features=msLiveCaption
That out of the way, EaseText Audio to Text Converter adds the program's folder, by default in the Users folder [run setup as Admin to install to Program Files (x86)], with folders added to Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Local & Roaming. The registry gets an uninstall key.
