One of the screens people are seeing during the install, beside the screens to add your account details etc., is an ad for Microsoft 365, their Office subscription, that cannot be bypassed -- people are having to sign up for the Microsoft 365 trial, then cancel later before they can be charged. To avoid this mess Bleeping Computer recommends unplugging/disconnecting from the internet before starting the installation.
