You can add virtual versions of Android & Linux to Windows -- they're more VMs [Virtual Machines] than emulators, but they don't require VM Host software. You can install WSL from Windows Store, & uninstall it like any other app, but something I was unaware of, uninstalling WSL can leave the actual Linux installation, the file system ect. behind. That not only wastes disk space, but can make it harder to reinstall WSL, or a different version of Linux in WSL in the future.
