Don't know what it will be called, and Microsoft hasn't officially confirmed that the next version of Windows is even a thing. Due to an [accidental?] reveal at a Microsoft event, All we know is that Microsoft's exploring what it should look like. They could of course cancel this project -- they've canceled plenty of products in development before -- but it is a pretty good indication that Microsoft's decided there will be something new following Windows 11. It's possible that it will be a sort of repeat of the cycle where Windows 7 was hugely popular, followed by Windows 8, which was largely ignored, followed by Windows 10, which has again been Very popular. IMHO, so far the biggest incentive to move to Win11 *was* that Win10 was going away in a couple few years. I suspect that most of the relatively few systems running it either belong to people who are big Windows fans, enthusiastic to be using the newest version available, or are new PCs/laptops that came with Win11 installed. IOW, more or less a repeat of what we saw with Win8. [For me, the experience has been virtually identical -- I had a copy of Win8 installed, just like I have a copy of Win11 running on this PC, and never found any reason to use either.]
