There aren't that many sites focusing on general Windows news, sometimes news from one will be picked up by others, and then of course there's Twitter, Reddit etc., so it's possible you'll see some reference to this click bait article on Neowin: "Beware: Windows 11-ready CPUs with VAES "susceptible to data damage", full CPU list here"
IGNORE IT.
Neowin & some other sites pay people to write summaries of news & other reporting from various sources. They get paid by the word, so it's in these *writer's* interests to do the job as fast as possible. All too frequently this means not actually reading whatever it is they're supposed to summarize. And that's obviously the case here...
Microsoft found a problem with SymCrypt, the core cryptographic library in Windows, in Windows 11 (original release) & Windows Server 2022, so they turned some stuff off in the June, 2022 update. That made BitLocker & a couple of other services slower. Then they fixed the problem(s) & turned everything back on in the July, 2022 update.
