Addresses an issue that might cause consecutive video clip playback to fail in games that use DX12.Addresses an issue that affects certain games that use the XAudio API to play sound effects.
The fixes in KB5015878 should be included in August's cumulative update, in case you're not experiencing the problems listed [posting this in case you are :) ]. It's a smaller update, and in the 2 copies of Win10 where I installed it, the Windows Update window did not behave properly, e.g., showing the update at Downloading 0% when the Taskbar icon showed it was waiting for a restart -- after that restart it showed it as installed.
A **maybe** interesting note, Bleeping Computer says the Win10 build number after the update should be 19044.1865. On a whim I installed KB5015684, upgrading Win10 21H2 to 22H2, & after today's update it's showing build 19045.1826.
