I think this is mainly of interest to anyone thinking about buying, building, wishing for a new PC/laptop -- now you have a [tentative] target date.
PC & component prices are going to be higher, not just because these are new parts, but because it uses more expensive DDR5 RAM. And with a new CPU socket [AM5], upgrades using an existing motherboard are out. Graphics processors [GPUs] built into the new CPUs are way improved -- something anyone looking for a new laptop will especially appreciate. And while nothing's definite until these CPUs are in the hands of actual users / gamers, the new CPUs are supposed to be a pretty big step up in performance.
