I made a bucket list some years ago after reading an article about a young teenager who was dying of cancer; she'd made a bucket list and had posted it on a you tube video, that went viral. Because of that she was able to fulfil all of the things on her bucket list before she passed away. I only happened to think about it while finishing off the conclusion to the Seven New Wonders of the World Jigsaw conclusion, where I mentioned some of the things I have listed on my bucket list. As many of the regular community member know I was involved in a serious road traffic accident back in 2005, that curtailed many of the hobbies and past times I used to love (Cycling, rock climbing, skiing, travelling, camping, motorcycling, trekking etc.
Whether it's a good idea or not to air your bucket list in public, I really don't know, but I've always been open about my own life; even in these uncertain times where identity theft is rife. I'm basically too trusting of people as I believe we all have good within us.
The forums used to be a great meeting place for loads of community members. We used to post lots of stuff, some about fee stuff, but also about personal stuff and we often had a great laugh and banter between the community. Over the past several years, that seems to have all but disappeared, with many of the community that regularly posted seemingly no longer visiting; partly due to some of the members passing away e.g. Scuba Guy. We used to post various comments that would get lots of responses, such as name a town or city that begins with the letter that the previous names town or city ends in or a close up view of something and you had to guess what it was.
Anyway I though I'd try and liven the forums up a little by starting a new thread about Bucket lists. I'm hoping that items on other community members bucket lists will give me extra's to add to my own. Maybe your bucket list is totally different to mine, or maybe very similar (if it's similar email me lol),
I'll start the ball rolling by listing my main bucket list items.
