Please be careful.
With the war in Ukraine the internet has become less safe, though it's not as if it was all that safe before. One threat that has not materialized, so far, is targeted malware escaping the conflict zone to infect the rest of the world, e.g. Not-Petya. There is & likely will be more collateral damage... Viasat was hit by an ongoing cyber attack that's causing broadband outages across Europe. The part that's potentially scariest *to me*, and I really hope I'm wrong, is the sort of normalization of cyber warfare. There are calls for volunteers, both inside & outside Ukraine, to engage in cyber attacks on Russia. Existing cyber criminals are / were interested only in profit and not getting caught, so there's some degree of professionalism that has so far prevented another world-wide incident like the wanna cry malware, which many think sort of escaped from it's masters. Any volunteers OTOH would not feel like they're doing anything wrong -- in fact quite the opposite -- attracting participants with less [or no] experience & questionable skills using off-the-shelf malware. Who knows what will be released into the wild. At the same time, some of the most highly skilled cyber criminal gangs or organizations are based in Russia, and they reportedly have generally been careful in the past to self-limit their activities, lest they bring on too much heat from law enforcement in different countries. That external threat has probably been removed, while they may become motivated to engage in wide spread attacks, feeling it was justified, especially if volunteers from western nations start attacking Russia.
