While I don't agree with a couple of things the author's written, it gives a pretty complete picture of what Win11 offers for anyone curious as to what all the fuss is about. For some people, features like Snap Assist might be a bigger deal than it is to me, so if you're curious about Win11, it may be a worthwhile read.
I use Pro Lasso. It gives me the possibility to disallow any process. I have disallowed msteams.exe, widgets.exe and yourphone.exe. Because I do not intend to use Teams, do not like the widgets and do not couple my iPhone to this laptop. For those we never use OneDrive, they could block OneDrive.exe. The same with other Windows 11 "features". I do not know what process is coupled to Snap Assist.
The nice thing about this is that both blocking and unblocking is very simple. You only have to know the name of the exe. And if you read about some new malware exe, you can add it even before you have seen it running.

This will be my first attempt to recreate a part of the classic at that time ubiquitous Tweak UI app featuring the classic look.
ThisIsWin11 was my first attempt to enhance somehow the PowerToys productivity apps with some system tools. It was partly based on tweaks of the TweakUIX mentioned here. Somehow I prefer this standalone version more, so I decided to push it to public on Github. My private version had all other tweaks integrated, so the code base including all tweaks of this app was largely taken from the last stable version of the TIW11 OpenTweaks module.There is still a lot to do and a lot of spaghetti code to clean up, but the first step is done..
...and yes, this version also brings some advantage over TIW11. The stone-age ui requires less resources and of course flickers a bit smoother on the screen and runs at time of writing also on Win10.
