You can sign in & use Win10 with either a Microsoft or a private/local account, and switch between them if you want. Currently with Win11 Home a Microsoft account is required during setup. Like the hack to bypass checking RAM, secure boot, & storage requirements, you use hot keys to access the command prompt, but rather than edit the registry you use Task Mgr. to end a process. And that lets you avoid tying that copy to a Microsoft account.
In added news, there's a new Win11 ISO out from the Dev channel -- it *may* be less stable & it *may* *not* be the same as what's going to be released on 10/5.
