This is tech that Microsoft first developed for the Xbox that can dramatically increase the speed of reading large amounts of data from storage for games. It's something that has to be added or coded into the game itself, meaning you'll likely see it on AAA titles first [or maybe only?]. It also works best on fast NVMe drives, and it will work better/faster on Win11 than 10. And it might be enough to prompt some gamers, e.g. WR, to start thinking seriously about moving to Win11 when it's available.
