There are downsides to this app, like the need to register with a free account, and its fairly high impact on Windows, with tens of thousands of new registry entries. OTOH it's a decent, fairly complete audio editor, with support for both Direct X and VST plugins. It adds a new Nero Start app, that's simply a menu of available Nero apps, and it's separate from the existing Nero Start if you have an older version or Nero installed -- in that case just ignore it and start WaveEditor normally.
