I often say that Cybercriminals start trying to exploit a vulnerability soon after it's revealed -- it's important to install Windows patches or hot-fixes ASAP, because that's often the first time cybercriminals become aware of the [now fixed] vulnerabilities, and they rush to attack any unpatched systems. Well, with the widely reported vulnerabilities in Exchange Server that have been wreaking havoc, they broke the record, scanning for unpatched Exchange Servers 5 minutes after they learned about it -- the usual is closer to 15 minutes.
