I'm running an older AMD X470 graphics card [at least until prices return to Earth, assuming they ever do], and neither Chrome nor Edge likes it much, causing occasional black screens or Win10 lockups. I've explored two hot key combos, hoping they would avoid a power off in those situations -- they don't...
Windows key + D -> Alt + F4 -> Enter
and
Windows key + X -> U -> U
From this article at Windows Central I've got a third one to try... it's a desktop shortcut that I've assigned a hot key to [in the shortcut's properties dialog]. The shortcut's command is:
"C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /k shutdown /s /f"
And it works, at least while Win10 is working properly -- I'll have to wait until it locks up to find out if it still works then, and I'm hoping that will be a Loooong time from now.
