While I have Edge set to delete everything, including browsing history when I close the browser, and despite my very frequently manually clearing the cache [I've had frequent problems with Win10 locking when using Edge], I noticed that when right-clicking the Edge icon on the TaskBar, there was this extremely long list of links or sites the browser had connected to. Very many [most] were links for ads & such that loaded & were connected to automatically when visiting whatever sites, and therefor useless even if I wanted to use the jump list. Getting rid of just that jump list was hard -- you can right click an item and delete it, but the jump list was Much longer than what was shown, and it would take forever. You can go to Settings -> Personalization -> Start, and turn off "Show recently opened items in Jump Lists..." and that will clear everything [not just for Edge]. Afterward I turned it back on and haven't gotten anything in the Edge jump list since.
