I subscribe to Amazon Prime due mainly for the free postage as I order a lot from Amazon each year and always choose the items that come under the Amazon Prime umbrella, so I never pay postage (well, maybe the odd item each year). The Amazon video, music and prime gaming are just extra's that add to the cost of the subscription. It has almost tripled in cost since I first subscribed when it cost me £26.99 for a years subscription, though back then it was just free postage and next day delivery plus access to music. It's now £79. Even now the amount I save in postage each year easily covers the cost of the subscription, so the other additions are icing on the cake.
That said, I realise not everyone can afford to subscribe; especially in these dark times.
