I've posted a comment recently and I could see it, them I made some responses to other users and they are not showing up, though I've received notifications by email for new comments.
I've also received notifications for new comments from other users (I can read them in the emails), but I can't see them on the web page.
I've cleared the cache and used different browsers.

I'm not a moderator -- this is just my understanding in case it helps at all. Comments on the download pages are queued until a *volunteer* mod takes a look at them & approves the posts. Sometimes it can take a while before a mod has a chance to review pending comments, & don't hold your breath if you post from say mid-afternoon onward. I *think* notifications OTOH are automated, triggered by any responses to a comment thread, whether they're later approved or not.

Thanks for the reply. I have no idea how it works. If comments are reviewed by a human, I wonder why are sometimes spam comments validated, like this one:
