It'll show up when you click the button in Windows Update to Check for updates, or it won't... Microsoft says it's starting off slow, rolling out the update to devices known to be compatible, but they're applying a heavy dose of spin to what so far is a pretty random process. If your device might not be compatible, Microsoft will show you a warning -- they did that with my 10" tablet when 2004/20H1 came out. If you don't see anything, that means Microsoft hasn't chosen you to get the update yet. There are only two incompatibilities listed, and those were/are there for the prior version too -- as Microsoft tries to update more devices, the list of hardware that failed will grow, same as with 2004. So yeah, it makes sense to wait a bit if you want to be cautious.
If you don't want to wait, for whatever reason, you can always use their Media Creation tool, or their Update Assistant. WARNING... those will (re)install Win10's latest version, which is a bit more work, and takes longer than the simple cumulative update you'll get if/when it's offered via Windows Update.
I've tried going the Upgrade Assistant route to verify this PC's compatible, and it worked fine, before & after, but it's not offered in Windows Update. My older tablet OTOH, which shipped with Win8, did have the update offered (?). As usual of late it could have gone better... Windows update didn't make it clear that it was installing the update after I clicked install, then no longer showed a couple of other updates, which showed up later individually, and Windows Update History doesn't show the update ever got installed, though Settings -> System -> About shows that it did.
