In fact, if you're running Win10 2004/20H1 [the May update], & if you've installed the normal Patch Tuesday updates, most of Win10 20H2 has already been installed -- Microsoft will send patches via Windows Update that simply enables what's already there. But while 20H2 is a minor update -- like last year's fall update, Win10 will be updated with patches rather than getting a whole new install -- it is different enough that it might possibly cause problems. On this PC, using pretty universal hardware, I've had problems with the Insider builds of 20H2 up to now. Microsoft has just released a cumulative update for 20H2 with a Long list of fixes, which they feel will make it stable enough for biz IT dept.s to start testing.
[Note that if one of the new fixes in that update to 20H2 might apply to problems you're having with 20H1, it is possible to add that update to Win10 20H1/2004, though I don't think anyone can offer any guarantees that your problems will go away. To do so Google on KB4571744 to find links to the .cab file Windows Update uses.]
To test the Win10 20H2 preview you'll need to join a copy of Win10 2004 to the Insider Beta Channel, which will get you the updates turning it into v. 19042, or you can now download the Insider 19042 ISO file, or you can use the Windows ISO Downloader app if you don't want to bother signing up as an Insider.
