Every year Microsoft sends out a emails for credit in their online store. Sometimes you have to click something in the email, e.g. once it was the squirrel, sometimes they tell you it's a credit in the title, and the email I got today just says Get a free $5 gift card with a link under the ad portion. They send these out at random, so good luck -- I hope you get one.
